Japanese Characters of Shogi Game

This page can only be read, if you have installed Japanese Kanji fonts. There is a free add-on from Microsoft for Windows 98 and Internet Explorer, but options from other companies exist.

Aligned with the left border are the normal chequers
(usually marked with black ink),

aligned with the right border are the respective promoted pieces
(usually marked with red ink on the reverse side).
